January 18 Survey Program: Submit Your 2567s

During our January 18 education program, Mary Chiles of Chiles Healthcare Consulting, LLC will use data from SMART to take an in-depth look at Virginia survey results and the underlying causes of the deficiencies cited. This analysis can help you identify strategies to reduce the risks at your center and enhance the quality of care for your residents and patients. Submit your 2567s and cover letter to Mary Chiles to be included in the analysis.

Examining and Learning from 2021 Surveys | Register

January 18, 2021 | Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump

Surveyors are working to address the backlog of surveys spurred by the pandemic. Under the latest CMS guidance, facilities are subject to focused infection control surveys, recertification surveys, and investigations of complaints and facility reported incidents. The analysis of the survey results can help you identify strategies to reduce the risks at your center and enhance the quality of care for your residents and patients.

Stay tuned for the full agenda for this day-long program!

Help Keep SMART smart!

VHCA-VCAL’s Survey Management and Analysis Tool (SMART) is used to analyze current trends and patters in the survey process. If you’ve recently undergone a survey, you can help add to the pool of data by taking these quick steps:

  • submitting your 2567 and cover letter to Mary Chiles. Information from your survey will be added to SMART.
  • responding to the SMART Questionnaire to help us learn more about the survey environment. Responses are kept confidential and only shared in aggregate summary.
