DSS Is Conducting a Survey on IPC Education and Training Needs
What’s happening: DSS requests that assisted living facilities complete a survey to determine your interest and gauge your educational training needs specific to infection prevention and control.
- Click here to take the survey or scan the QR code.
- Responses are due by January 18, 2023.
For context: DSS received a grant in partnership with VDH and Health Quality Innovators to support licensed adult care providers to mitigate infectious and communicable diseases.
- The DSS Division of Licensing Programs Infection Prevention and Control Team is available to conduct onsite education and training for frontline staff at ALFs and adult day care centers.
Responding to the survey will help DSS conduct a thorough assessment of the educational needs regarding infection prevention and control.
- This will help VDSS build a training program applicable to provider needs.
- The information gathered will not be used in a punitive manner.
