Dennis WilliamsDennis Williams was born in North Carolina. He moved to DC when he was in the third grade. He eventually worked for a landscaping company and became the manager of Whole Foods.

Dennis has many hobbies but the most inspiring thing he does is go on his daily walks on and off campus. Even when it’s raining, Dennis will still go on his daily walks. In his free time, he also enjoys collecting coins, going to antique stores, playing video games, painting, and even knows how to play the congas. He inspires to have his own exhibit with his work on display.

Dennis was not always handed an easy life and battled homelessness. When asked if he ever felt afraid or lonely, he replied no. He went on to explain that he had a family looking out for him and they always took care of each other. Dennis came to Willow Oaks with help from a social worker and has really had a chance to thrive. He is an asset to our community and is always helping others. He loves animals and has taken it upon himself to take care of our community birds. He recently befriended a resident with visual impairments and Dennis takes care of him by guiding him, bringing him meals, and visiting with.
