Debbie HallDebbie Hall, the middle of three sisters, was born and raised in Castlewood, Virginia. After graduating high school in Russell County, she began work in the local sewing factory. Later she worked at Russell County Medical Center serving in multiple departments for over 32 years. Debbie is a true caregiver and active member of our community.

Debbie was admitted to The Rehab Center at Bristol in 2023 for skilled care. She was known for her hard work and friendly smile. After her rehab stay, she was discharged home with support from her friends and family. After multiple health issues affecting her heart, she was admitted to our long term care unit.

Debbie can often be found in the activity area playing cards and other games. She has always been an active lady, attending many community activities, and even helped us incorporate these activities and events into our activities department and therapy.

If Debbie isn’t in the activities area, she can be found outside enjoying the warmth of the sunshine. She will often share her love for animals, flowers, and the outside with our staff, other residents and visitors. Sofie, her special companion, is often a topic of discussion. Debbie and Sofie loved spending time outdoors.

Debbie’s natural ability to care for people and spend time with other residents has brought many wonderful ideas to our community. Debbie has helped the facility with a community-wide garden and garden club giving many of our residents and therapists renewed purpose. Her ideas have inspired an annual Slip-n-Slide Luau this summer, bringing so much joy to the residents and staff. This love for others and sweet smile sums up our friend Debbie.
