Overview

Implementation of the Requirements of Participation (ROP) “Mega Rule” brings the opportunity to review and realign nursing facility protocols and operational strategies. During this day-long education program, participants will review outcomes related to the new regulatory process and implementation of Phases 1 and 2 in Virginia. Our panel of experts will take a deep dive into the details of Phase 3, which goes into effect on November 28, 2019. Phase 3 implementation will be enhanced by revision and modification to regulations and guidance from Phases 1 and 2. 

Session leaders will help you explore the regulatory intent and guidance for both new requirements and changes to existing guidance that impacts both clinical and operational protocols and processes. In addition, our presenters will help you understand regulatory changes to the Life Safety Code.

VHCA-VCAL Cancellation & Refund Policies

The administrator of a center has the ability to cancel without a penalty if federal or state surveyors/inspectors are in a center. Cancellations for credit card payments are subject to a 10% service fee. Refunds will be granted as follows: full refund if received by the specified registration deadline; one-half of the registration fee if cancellation received three working days prior to the scheduled event. No refunds or credits will be granted if cancellation is received after the three working days deadline. Substitutions are always welcome.
