Leading experts, state and federal authorities, and long term care experts will focus on real world examples and scenarios to ensure you can prepare and respond to a variety of situations in the most appropriate way to safeguard your residents, visitors, and staff.

The symposium made possible through VHCA-VCAL’s Virginia Long Term Care Infrastructure Pilot Project (VLIPP) grant from VDH.

Health and Safety Protocols (Updated May 11, 2023)

Our goal is always to keep our event attendees healthy and safe. As a precautionary measure, VHCA-VCAL asks attendees who are sick and/or have active symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath to please refrain from attending our events for the benefit of all concerned. Substitutions are welcome for any registered attendees who must refrain from participating in an event due to exposure/illness.

The CDC recommends staying up to date with vaccines and testing if you have symptoms. Further, it says people may mask at any time. Meetings and events held on-site at a long term care facility must follow the host facility’s protocols.
