This day-long conference will focus on key regulatory changes set to take effect on November 28, 2017 under Phase 2 of the Requirements of Participation. Presenters Mary Chiles and April Payne will discuss operational strategies and opportunities you can use to successfully implement the new requirements at your center.  They will provide you with information on Virginia’s new “blended” survey process and explore ways you can prepare your center using tools like the facility assessment, QAPI plan, and CMS-developed pathways for determining compliance.  

Other topics that will be addressed include:

• lessons learned from analysis of the Interpretive Guidelines for Phase 1 and Phase 2; and
• strategies for person centered care that enhance quality of life and quality of care.
