Registration is now open for VHCA-VCAL’s Introduction to Activity Management in Long Term Care course. This 5-day, 45-hour course is an intensive and hands-on program to help individuals who work in the activities field build their knowledge and skills to provide engaging activity programs in senior care settings.

Participants gain valuable insight and practical advice on how to create meaningful programs and events for residents of nursing centers and assisted living communities. The course provides comprehensive training in documentation and programming and meets various federal and state regulatory requirements for activity personnel working in Virginia.
