Long Term Care Ombudsman

The Office of the Long Term Care Ombudsman serves to protect the the health, safety, and rights of persons receiving care in nursing facilities and other senior care facilities. The program functions in large part through the work of trained volunteers who work to educate and empower residents of care facilities and to investigate and help resolve complaints when they arise. There is a network of local Ombudsman offices throughout Virginia State.
