Two Opportunities to Participate in Emergency Prep Tabletop Exercises

emergencyWhat’s happening: VHCA-VCAL and Jensen Hughes are hosting two emergency preparedness webinars and tabletop exercises on April 25 and May 1 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

  • This free event will help you meet the annual CMS exercise requirement for a second exercise with a tabletop exercise. Industry experts will review top E-Tag citations, best practices for developing incident action plans and how your incident command system interacts, and more.
  • You will learn from industry experts about meeting emergency preparedness planning requirements, then participate in a tabletop exercise which can help you meet the standard for practicing emergency preparedness exercises.

  • The same presentation and tabletop exercise will be presented to give you the flexibility to attend the session that best works for your schedule.

Webinar and tabletop agenda: You’ll learn from industry experts including:

  • top CMS emergency management (E-Tag) citations;
  • how to meet your emergency preparedness plan requirements for LTC and assisted living; and
  • developing incident action plans and how your incident command system interacts.

 

For the tabletop exercise: You should have your facility’s emergency operations plan available and your incident management team (facility leadership) available to play.
