Registration is now open for VHCA-VCAL’s Introduction to Activity Management in Long Term Care virtual training course. The DSS Division of Licensing Programs has approved the course as a training program in adult group activities and in recognizing and assessing the activity needs of residents. The course meets the requirements of 22 VAC 40-73-1120 F5 of the Standards for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities.

This course offers 45 hours of comprehensive training over eight days in June on programming and documentation for activity personnel.
