The Legislative Conference will include a panel of state health policy leaders including DSS Commissioner Duke Storen, as well as an update on VCAL initiatives during which April Payne will review DSS initiatives, CBD dispensing, and the impact of assisted living-specific legislation under consideration by the General Assembly.

This week-long, 45-hour course meets all federal and state requirements for activity professionals in Virginia working in either nursing centers or assisted living facilities.

Attendees will be energized with ideas and resources to help them direct activity programs tailored to the individual needs of those in their communities. The registration deadline is February 10.
