VDH and DSS have shared the LTCF Request Form for COVID-19 Tests and HPSI has announced that it has contracted with new suppliers to offer COVID-19 test kits to HPSI members.

The LTCF Request Form is open again until March 2022 or until supplies last. In addition, VDH has posted a document to the Virginia COVID-19 Long-Term Care Task Force website with information on COVID-19 point of care antigen testing supply resources for residential care facilities including assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and long term care facilities.

VDH encourages facilities to be strategic in determining the minimum number needed as many facilities need support. Please be mindful that VDH receives small shipments and will fulfill requests as we can and as supply allows. VDH plans to provide supplemental support through March 2022 or until test kit availability has been depleted, whichever comes first.

HPSI Suppliers 

VHCA-VCAL endorsed partner, HPSI has announced that it has contracted with new suppliers to offer COVID-19 test kits to HPSI members. Options are available for both over the counter rapid COVID-19 antigen tests and on-site PCR testing.

HPSI notes that these tests are in short supply and inventory is changing very quickly. For accurate information on what inventory is available, HPSI recommends contacting suppliers directly.
