Upcoming training: The VDH Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program is hosting the IP Educator Roadshow offering a free, one-day training session for healthcare workers who educate others on infection prevention, even if it is not their full-time job.

• Sign up for one of the remaining training sessions offered across Virginia in July and August.

How it works: In this training you will practice adult learning principles, create fun and interactive teaching materials, and identify your personal strengths as an infection prevention educator.

Why it matters: The training will cover topics critical to a licensed ALFs infection control program including use of PPE and hand hygiene
