What’s new: DSS has revised the Direct Care Staff Curriculum, Chapter 2 Infection Control, to reflect the most updated information regarding infection prevention and control based on CDC guidelines per a September 29 memo.

• Replacement pages for the revised chapter are available online. Disregard the prior Chapter 2 in the complete curriculum.

Additional details: The DSS Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT) continues to conduct on-site assessments to provide recommendations for improvement of infection control programs based on regulatory compliance and best practice. The team also continues to provide on-site trainings pertaining to infection control for frontline staff.
