What’s new: DSS is developing infection prevention and control (IPC) training resources for providers. DSS will make a one-time distribution of the materials in early 2024.

What’s included: The materials will include a train-the-trainer resource binder and tri-fold brochures on five different topics.

• The binder will include IPC training and activity materials, signage and infographics, auditing and monitoring resources, the IPC manual template, and communicable disease surveillance resources. You will be able to use these resources to conduct IPC training, auditing, monitoring, and communicable disease surveillance. The resource binder will also include information to assist providers through implementation.
• The tri-fold brochures will address five topics to prevent the spread of infections at home for staff, visitors, and family members.
