• VHCA-VCAL, in partnership with Incident Management Solutions, is hosting four regional exercises as part of the VLIPP grant project.

How it works: You will participate in your own command centers as the exercise is managed from a central simulation cell.

• Central Region | March 6, 2024 | 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• Northern Region | March 7, 2024 | 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
• Southwest Region | March 7, 2024 | 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

First, use this form to RSVP for the functional exercise in your area.

Then, complete this required survey to help our contractor, Incident Management Solutions, coordinate the exercises.

• If you plan to participate in one of the functional exercises, you must complete the survey by February 23.

• Additional emergency preparedness webinars will be held on April17, May 22, and June 20. Specific topics will be announced in March.

• The Emergency Preparedness Conference will be held on May 30, 2024 at the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump.
  • This free event will focus on emergency preparedness in the long term care industry and will feature subject matter experts as presenters and panelists to educate and answer questions on disasters that could impact facility operations in the Commonwealth.
