• The tournament benefits the Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation and the Regirer Nursing Scholarships and serves as the kick off for the 2023 Convention events.

Why it matters: The Regirer Nursing Scholarships are instrumental in helping fulfill the dreams of nurses who have a passion for caring for Virginia’s frailest individuals.

• Scholarships are awarded annually to employees of VHCA-VCAL member facilities who want to advance their nursing careers by earning their LPN or RN degree.

The details: The 18-hole captain’s choice tournament will begin with a shotgun start. 

• Awards will be presented immediately following the tournament at the course. Prizes will include first, second, and third place teams; longest drive; closest to the pin.
• Door prizes will be awarded as well.
• Lunch and the post-golf reception are included in the registration fee.
