DSS: Deadline to Respond to IPC Survey Extended

DSS: Deadline to Respond to IPC Survey Extended

DSS has extended the deadline to complete the survey on assisted living facilities’ educational and training needs on infection prevention and control (IPC).

  • Providers have until March 31 to respond. Click here to take the survey or scan the QR code.

For context: DSS received a grant in partnership with VDH and Health Quality Innovators to support licensed adult care providers to mitigate infectious and communicable diseases.

  • The DSS Division of Licensing Programs Infection Prevention and Control Team is available to conduct onsite education and training for frontline staff at ALFs and adult day care centers.

Responding to the survey will help DSS conduct a thorough assessment of the educational needs regarding infection prevention and control.

  • This will help DSS build a training program applicable to provider needs.
  • The information gathered will not be used in a punitive manner.
