What’s happening: The VDH Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program is partnering with APIC and CBIC to offer a complimentary Long-Term Care Certification in Infection Prevention (LTC-CIP) preparatory course and exam.

• This training is designed for individuals who are a full- or part-time staff member leading infection prevention and control activities in Virginia nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• This course is valued at more than $1825 and space is limited.

Sessions are available on the following dates:

• May 1-3, 2024
• June 18-20, 2024
• June 25-27, 2024
• July 9-11, 2024
• July 23-25, 2024

• Re-tests and future recertification are not funded by VDH.
• This is a one-time offer supported by federal funding through the Nursing Home & Long-Term Care Facility Strike Team and Infrastructure Project.
