ICYMI: DSS issued a memo on November 3, 2023 informing providers that the barrier crimes list in § 19.2-392.02 for licensed Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) and Adult Day Care Centers (ADCC) was recently updated.

About the changes: “Simple assault” was added to §18.2-57, assault and battery, on the barrier crimes list (page 2) to clarify that §18.2-57 is either simple assault or an assault and battery.

• No new barrier crimes were added.
