What we’re celebrating: Two VHCA-VCAL members were named among the 16 McKnight’s Women of Distinction Rising Stars for 2023.

• Emily Erickson, Executive Vice President of Clinical Services, Retirement Unlimited, Inc.

About the recognition: The Rising Stars category honors women who are either aged fewer than 40 years or have fewer than 15 years of experience in the senior living, skilled nursing or home care fields and have demonstrated an exceptional commitment at the community, facility, agency, or corporate level.

• Honorees will be celebrated on May 22 as part of the fifth annual McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards, a joint effort of McKnight’s Senior Living andsister media brands McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and McKnight’s Home Care.
